Meet Sara, the founder of TMC. Sara has spent the last 10 years working in the Pilates and Fitness industry, training clients and teaching instructors, locally and internationally. She started this brand to create space to nurture, educate and support people to move in ways she genuinely believes in. Her desire is for people to move with purpose and happiness, so exercise is a welcome and rewarding part of life.

Dance, namely ballet, was an integral part of Sara’s life from a young age. The transition to Pilates, Barre and fitness in her adult life was a natural progression and felt to her like a ‘coming home’. Certified in Pilates (Pilates ITC & Tensegrity), she is passionate about teaching Pilates to everybody. She is also an accredited Barre, TRX and PunchFit trainer. Sara is especially interested in women’s health, being certified by The Center for Women’s Fitness in pre and postnatal care and diastasis recti recovery.

Sara looks forward to getting to know each of you, and for you to get to know her more.

Zahra has always had a passion for dance and performance, with a background in musical theatre, and a strong love towards fitness and movement for all bodies. She desires to inspire her clients to move for mental and physical release as well as enjoyment. Zahra is a certified Pilates instrutor and experienced in teaching a variety of styles, always applying her unique mix of dance and Pilates exercises to her workouts. She brings her bubbly personality and positive attitude to every class, creating an inclusive and highly rewarding sweaty class!

Amanda has always been passionate about fitness – having worked as a professional dancer, taught dance for many years and received a Diploma in Classical Ballet. She loves how movement and music can re-energise the body, mind and soul. As a Barre, TRX and HIIT instructor, Amanda hopes to help her clients achieve their fitness goals and to pass on her love for working out so much that they leave wanting to come back for more!

Ella has always had a keen interest and love for movement. From a young age, Ella started ballet which eventuated into a love and passion for teaching dance. Ella has trained in Martha Graham technique, has learnt Horton technique at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre in New York and holds her Progressing Contemporary Technique (PCT) Certification. Additionally, Ella is a Registered Midwife and a certified Pilates instructor. Ella is excited to share her love for movement through Pilates.

Emilia has always loved movement and music – Starting ballet and piano lessons at the age of five. She went on to train full-time at Brent Street, earning a Diploma of Musical Theatre, and later completed a Bachelor of Arts (Music Theatre) at Federation University. She continues to work professionally as an actor, performing in theatre productions around Sydney. Having practiced Mat Pilates for many years, Emilia became a certified Mat Pilates instructor. Following this, she completed her certification in Pre & Post Natal Pilates teaching. She is passionate about helping people find movement that feels sustainable and supports their day to day life.

Marika quickly fell in love with Pilates as a client and hasn’t looked back. She completed her comprehensive education through National Pilates Training, specialising in Reformer, and is thrilled to join the TMC team. Marika is passionate about helping you move in a way that feels effective and sustainable for your body – so you walk out of class feeling lighter, stronger and more present.

Dani trained in all forms of dance since the age of 5, and performed professionally as a singer, dancer and actress in Australia and Asia before moving to Los Angeles in 2000. Her musical theatre accolades include performing alongside Caroline O’Connor in Westside Story, Sweet Charity, Grease – The Arena Spectacular, and Fame The Musical in which she frequently performed the lead role of Carmen. Throughout her life, Dani has been drawn to the study and practice of Pilates and Yoga and all things health. This led her to become a certified Pilates instructor, and she is passionate about helping people feel better through movement.

Rosaline (Roz) is a certified Pilates and Barre instructor. As a dance mum, she fell in love with her weekly adult barre class at her daughter’s ballet studio and along with a background in Science, was fascinated by the biomechanics of the human body. And this was how Roz became a passionate instructor. She is extremely approachable, motivating and her focus is on helping clients with alignment in order to achieve the best results for correct muscle activation and strengthening.

Roxana has been trained by Polestar Pilates in Matwork and Reformer, and has her Certificate III & IV in Fitness. She will meet you where you are. Working with Roxana is like finding a supportive friend who genuinely cares about your well-being. She’ll celebrate your wins, big and small, and help you find movement that feels good in your body and soul. She believes fitness should be tailored to you, but also fun and empowering. In Roxana’s classes, don’t be surprised if you find yourself grooving along to the beat and some uplifting affirmations to finish on a high note! When she’s not in the studio, you’ll find Roxana lifting heavy, or hunting for Sydney’s best tacos!

Alongside teaching Barre, Bungee Barre and Strength classes, Sarah has completed her  Comprehensive Pilates Matwork Qualification with Polestar Pilates and Certificate III and IV in Fitness. She is currently working towards a Nutrition Certification. Despite having a Mathematical and Finance background, Sarah has always been extremely active and interested in health and fitness. Sarah is a deeply empathetic, energetic and positive individual, who always seeks to challenge herself, learn and grow. She likes to make her classes fun and tries to make clients laugh whenever possible!

Stella has trained across a wide range of dance styles, and developed a strong foundation in body awareness, technique, and expression that continues to influence her teaching today. Her passion for movement naturally led her to Pilates and fitness, where she combines her dance background with a focus on strength, alignment, and mindful movement. She creates classes that are welcoming, energising, and supportive for clients of all levels. Her goal is to help people feel stronger, move with confidence, and experience the physical and mental benefits of Pilates while rediscovering the joy of movement.

Tanja has long been a fan of Manoj and Manasa Yoga. Under the guidance of her guru Manoj Kaimal, her love for yoga grew and her thirst for more knowledge on the ancient science of yoga led her to complete the Manasa Yoga Teacher Training Course in 2005. Besides her exposure to Manoj and Manasa’s teachings, Tanja has also completed a 250-Hour Primary Yoga Teaching Certificate with Yoga Limbs Hong Kong in 2010, as well as participated in workshops with David Swensen and Sharath Rangaswamy. She has taught across the globe. Tanja continues to work towards spreading Manasa Yoga teachings to as many students as possible.

Tivy is a passionate instructor with a vibrant background in performing arts and fitness. Since discovering her love for Xtend Barre in 2015, she has taught across a variety of Sydney studios and has completed her comprehensive Pilates Mat and Reformer qualifications through National Pilates Training. Thoughtfully crafted and playfully executed, Tivy’s classes are about mindful movement and creating a space for you to show up exactly as you are.

Meg grew up around dance, in particular Irish dancing which saw her compete in the USA & Scotland. After graduating with a Journalism degree, she moved from Adelaide to Sydney and swapped the Jig for the Barre – Quickly falling in love with it! She’s excited to have made the transition from client to instructor and looks forward to welcoming you into the space at TMC and enjoying movement together!
